Tiling starts from £55 per m² and is usually priced as a fixed figure for the job. A quotation covers only the work described in it; anything found once floors, walls or old tiling are opened up is discussed and priced before it is carried out. ## Booking and access Dates are confirmed in advance. You agree to provide reasonable access to the property for the agreed working hours, along with water and mains electricity. Delays caused by access, by materials arriving late, or by other trades may move the completion date. ## Materials Where you supply tiles, allow sufficient additional tiles for cuts, pattern and breakages. Tiles from different production batches can vary in shade and size. JB Tiling is not responsible for defects in client-supplied materials, though any concerns spotted before fixing will always be raised with you first. ## Payment Payment terms are confirmed with the quotation and are normally staged as areas of the work complete. Invoices are payable on the terms stated on the invoice. ## Guarantee and insurance Workmanship carries a 1-year guarantee: if something about the workmanship is not right within that period; it will be put right. The business carries £10m public liability insurance. Manufacturer warranties on tiles, adhesives, heating mats and sanitaryware are provided by those manufacturers. ## Cancellations Please give as much notice as possible if a booked date needs to move. Where materials have already been ordered specifically for your job, those costs remain payable. ## Governing law These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
